Windermere House, an award winning three star, luxury bed & breakfast with ample level free parking is situated in peaceful countryside overlooking superb views of rural pastures leading down to the sea, an easy 20 – 30 minutes walk away, or a short bus or taxi ride (1.5 m or 2.4 km) to Looe town centre. The garden is available for you to sit and enjoy the good weather after your enjoyable day touring Cornwall. Alun & Zelia would like to offer you a clean quiet relaxed bed and breakfast to tour Cornwall and visit such places as the historic fishing ports of Looe and Polperro, Eden Project, China Clay Museums, Aquariums, Zoo’s, National Trust and English Heritage properties, coastal path walks (where we are very happy to collect and deliver you), there are three moors nearby to explore, sandy beaches, rolling countryside, horse riding, play golf, mackerel and deep sea fishing trips can be arranged from Looe. Canoeing, fly fishing, extreme sports and of course surfing from Whitsand bay In the town are award winning restaurants, a museum, a sandy beach, sub aqua diving on purpose sunk wrecks, glass bottom boats and trips to see the seals. Cornwall hosts many properties and sites which have been the sets for television programs and also steam and country fairs. There is also a train link to main line trains from the rest of the country. There are two airports which serve Cornwall nearby. Directions

From Plymouth: Cross the Tamar Bridge and continue on the A38 through the villages of Landrake and Tideford. At Trerulefoot roundabout turn left on the A374, signposted Torpoint. After 1 mile turn right on the A387 to Looe. At Widegates continue straight ahead on the B3253 (the main road, A387, takes a right fork here). After a further 2 miles, Windermere House is on the left, just after Looe Bay Caravan Park Look out for our sign. From Looe: Take the A387 out of the town towards Liskeard and Plymouth. Just at the end of the built-up area turn right up the hill on the B3253. Windermere House is on the right after about 1 mile.
